Fred " The Viking" Lucero teamed up with Wolf Quarter Horses to breed what we feel to be top quality performance horses. If you have ever met Fred, you have definitely heard of his Cee Booger Red horses. Cee Booger Red has created proven winners in calf roping, heading and heeling. Along with Cee Booger Red lines, we also incorporate Hancock, Leo, and King lines to name a few.
Fred Lucero has spent his entire life in the rodeo world as a calf roper and team roper. To this day, he competes and wins at all the team ropings he can get to. He also provides the roping steers to most of the western United States.
Wolf Quarter Horses and Wolf Land and Cattle is owned and operated by Mike Wolf and his daughter Megan. They have a cow calf operation in Southern New Mexico, and also run yearling cattle in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
Together, we call ourselves Staple Quarter Horses.
